Certainly everyone has noticed that music changes one’s mood, makes it more cheerful or to relax especially if you listen to your favorite tunes. Of course it is possible for music to have a reverse effect, inducing a state of sadness, if they choose sad songs. But the idea is to listen to happy music to relax. This must be done early in the morning, this will make you start your day better, relaxed, with a positive attitude, making you feel full of energy. Very important is the choice of the songs, because they have to please that person, give her/him a good psycho-emotional condition, to make her/him happy. The impact is likely to be negative if they choose inappropriate music.
Dr. Jacob Jolij at the University of Groningen (Netherlands) has compiled a list of ten songs that induce to listeners the greatest happiness. He questioned whether science can calculate the rate of happiness contained by a song, and could therefore identify those that make people happy objectively, according 7sur7.be. Dr. Jacob Jolij, who led the research, analyzed 126 songs of the past 50 years and wanted to see what moods have the people once they hear the songs. He finally made a list of 10 songs that have made people feel better.
To this end, the researcher took into account three criteria: the pace, the number of notes and the text, and then developed the musical happiness equation. Hard to say if it is a “fake” or a serious research but the equation revealed cult titles. They are in order:
1. Don’t Stop Me Now (Queen)
2. Dancing Queen (Abba)
3. Good Vibrations (The Beach Boys)
4. Uptown Girl (Billy Joel)
5. Eye of the Tiger (Survivor)
6. I’m a Believer (The Monkeys)
7. Girls Just Wanna Have Fun (Cyndi Lauper)
8. Livin ‘on a Prayer (Bon Jovi)
9. I Will Survive (Gloria Gaynor)
10. Walking on Sunshine (Katrina & The Waves)[/expand]
